The Taj Mahal Won't Disappoint You

The Taj Mahal was built between 1631-1653, about the time the pilgrims were in America. It has aged extremely well. It was larger than I had envisioned and cannot be appreciated until seen. It is an architectural marvel remarkable for its symetry and construction. It was designed by an Iranian and built by 20,000 workers over a 22-year period. Legend has it that the hands of the stone carvers were cut off after completion so they would not duplicate the artwork.
